"Connecting societies and markets: communication technology, policy and impacts"

15th Biennial Conference
September 5-7, 2004
Berlin, Germany

(in association with the 31st EARIE Conference, September 2-5, 2004)

Speaker Information

Each parallel session is of 90 minutes duration. Most sessions have 4 or 5 presenters. We recommend that the session chair divides the time equally between the speakers. It is at the chairs discretion as to whether questions follow each presenter or are taken together after all presenters have finished. Therefore, we are not able to give a precise indication of what should be expected.

Speakers should plan to speak for the allotted time (90 mins divided by number of presenters) less five minutes for questions.

We will have facilities for Power Point presentations and for overhead slides. We ask that you bring any ppt presentation on a floppy.

We strongly recommend that speakers keep the number of slides (either ppt or overhead) to a minimum.

Copies of each abstract will be available on the web before the Biennial and will be available in a booklet at the Biennial. It is therefore reasonable for speakers to assume that the audience has read the abstract.

All presentations are to be in English.
